Our mission is to prepare future professionals by providing premier educational programs that promote personal, academic and professional excellence.

More Than Just the Basics…

Of course you’ll cover the basics of haircutting, coloring, perming and styling or facials and waxing, but your education at Paroba College offers so much more than that. Our graduates set themselves apart with their ability to perform modern, in demand services. For example, cosmetologists have the opportunity to become certified in Human Hair Extensions and the i-Straight Japanese Hair Relaxer. Estheticians learn Sugaring and Microdermabrasion.

Nationally Accredited

Paroba College is nationally accredited by The National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences (NACCAS), recognized by the United State Department of Education (DOE) and licensed by the State of Washington.

Why does accreditation matter? It means that there are organizations looking out for students, making sure they are getting the education they should.  Paroba College submits to regular audits and inspections by NACCAS, the United States Department of Education, and the State of Washington Department of Licensing to keep our accreditation and licensing. National accreditation also means that financial aid may be available to those who qualify.

Professional Salon & Shop Facilities

The brand-new stand-alone campus consists of nearly 15,000 sq. ft. that includes five separate classrooms, clinic floors with beginning and advanced sections, dispensary, locker area, break room and administrative offices. There is a library containing books, videos, and audio tapes for both basic and advanced hair designing, haircutting, iron curling, blow combing, permanent waving, make-up, hair relaxing, fashions, manicuring, and other cosmetology-related subjects. These materials are used as teaching aids and reference sources by the students.

Learn Directly from Industry Professionals

Paroba College faculty members are experienced cosmetology, esthetics and barbering instructors. In addition to meeting the educational requirements for licensing, each instructor has been thoroughly trained in the contemporary methods of his or her field.

Advisory Board – Get Highly Specialized Training

The advisory board is composed of members chosen as experts in one or more specialized areas. These advisors serve as guest lecturers, perform demonstrations, judge competitions, and meet with faculty and students. Based on their years of experience as successful owners, managers, and self-employed professionals, they are an invaluable source of up-to-date information on advances in our field.

Career-Focused Training – Because You Don’t Have Time to Spend Years in School

Paroba College beauty programs are designed to provide the relevant, up-to-date skills employers are looking for, without having to spend years in school. Programs typically range from 7-14 months* to complete. All practical and classroom time is spent on relevant skills you’ll actually use on the job.

Convenient Schedule – Attend Just 3 Days Per Week

We understand the demands our students face. Many students are working and/or raising families. Most people don’t have the luxury of taking time off of their other responsibilities in order to go to school.

That’s why we designed our programs to run just 3-days per week. These full-time programs allow you to complete quickly and balance things like work, family and other commitments.
