Coolant leak : Duramax
I have a 2022 3500 dually duramax now and haven't had any problems so far and was wondering if there is any advantage to buying a new truck It does not apply to lzo's full size suv's are still using the lm2 Thanks in advance for any pointers
Notably, all affected units covered by gm safety recall number n242454440 are equipped with duramax diesel engines
Vehicles from the same nameplates and model years that are equipped with gasoline engines use a different transmission and are not affected. Lastly, every duramax with a variable geometry turbo has an exhaust brake, it just needs to be enabled on the older trucks Its a really easy mod to do, so if thats the selling point, id go get me a nice 06 07 classic and nto worry about the urea or pump. I’ve been looking to get a new truck and was looking at the gmc at4 1500 with the 3.0 duramax and was wondering if there are any problems with this motor and what else would i need to know before buying this truck, fuel economy, reliability, etc
Sent from my iphone using tapatalk Just read this article, and it sounds like 2025 will be the last year for the 3.0 duramax I hope it’s not true I only have 17k on my 23 and was hoping to trade it in for another in a few years
The beloved duramax engine has just gotten killed.
Foxwell says that it offers oem levels of connectivity and diagnosis to help you narrow down exactly what the problem with your duramax is and get it fixed This applies to all 3.0 duramax's and newer 6.6 duramax's too It does apply to all lm2's
